If you still have the app installed

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately:

Open Smart Shopping List.
Tap your avatar in the bottom-right corner, then Settings.
Scroll to Danger zone → Delete account.
Type your username to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email smartshoppinglist@as-devs.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify that the request comes from the registered address and delete the account within 30 days — usually within a few days.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in credentials.
Your profile: username and email address.
Your personal shopping list, and every item and store you own.
Your group memberships.
Your “ads removed” purchase record.
If you own a group: the group itself and its shared list, for every member.

What is kept, and for how long

Items you added to someone else’s group list stay on that group’s list, with your name removed from them. The list belongs to the group, not to you.
Encrypted infrastructure backups cycle out within 30 days. Nothing is retained beyond that, and nothing is retained for our own use.

This cannot be undone

There is no grace period and no way to recover a deleted account. Purchases cannot be restored to a deleted account — if you have bought “remove ads” and intend to come back, consider signing out instead of deleting.
