By creating an account in Smart Shopping List you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The service

Smart Shopping List is a cloud-synced shopping list you can share with your household. It needs an account and an internet connection; there is no offline mode. We provide it as-is and may change or discontinue features.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Don’t impersonate anyone.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app, or via this page.

Your content

Your lists, items and stores stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and show them to the members of your group. We don’t read them, sell them or use them to train anything.

Groups

Everyone you accept into a group can see and edit that group’s shared list. If you own a group, leaving or deleting your account disbands it and deletes its shared list for every member. Invite only people you intend to share with.

Free version, ads and purchases

• The free version shows ads and allows a limited number of group invites.
• “Remove ads” is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. It is tied to the account you bought it on and can be restored in Account → Settings → Restore purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policy. A deleted account cannot have purchases restored to it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the app to break the law, to harass anyone, to send spam invites, or to attack, probe or overload the service.

Liability

The app is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for data lost through your own deletion, a lost account, or a failure of a third-party service the app depends on. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Ending it

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
