By creating an account in Smart Shopping List you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The service

Smart Shopping List is a cloud-synced shopping list you can share with your household. It needs an account and an internet connection; there is no offline mode. We provide it as-is and may change or discontinue features.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Don’t impersonate anyone.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app, or via this page.

Your content

Your lists, items and stores stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store them and show them to the members of your group. We don’t read them, sell them or use them to train anything.

Groups

Every account has its own group and its own shared list from the moment you sign up. Everyone you invite into it can see and edit that list, and everyone you remove loses access to it. You can also join one other person’s group instead, in which case you work on their list until you leave it and your own list is waiting for you when you do. Deleting your account deletes your group and its shared list for every member of it. Invite only people you intend to share with.

Free version and ads

• The app is free and shows ads. It allows a limited number of group invites, which you can extend by watching an ad.
• There are currently no in-app purchases and no subscription. If that changes, these terms will be updated before anything is offered for sale, and any purchase would be processed by Google Play or the App Store under that store’s own refund policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the app to break the law, to harass anyone, to send spam invites, or to attack, probe or overload the service.

Liability

The app is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for data lost through your own deletion, a lost account, or a failure of a third-party service the app depends on. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Ending it

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
